Nina Amouris - Director of Design
Nina was raised in a creative family. Dynamic members of her family include architects, interior designers as well as fine artists. She grew up in Montreal, Canada, where she graduated with a degree in the history of design, and also lived in Athens, Greece, for a number of years. In 1996, she moved to the United States 26 years ago and pursued the next step in her plan to work in the field of interior design, a career she started in Greece.
She built Design Haus from the ground up and works there with other talented designers. She has 28 years of experience in the field of interior design. Her extensive travels have allowed her to witness unique views and trends. She is comfortable working with different design styles, ranging from traditional and transitional farmhouses to modern as well as eccentric. Her priority is always to make every design reflect the client’s personality, thus making every home different and fresh. Every design is about telling a story.
She speaks three different languages, Greek, French, and English, which makes it fun to conduct meetings with clients in their native tongues whenever possible.
Kelly Patel - Project Manager/Office ManagerÂ
A long-time East Bay resident, Kelly brings a talent for organization, attention to detail, and customer service to her dual roles as project manager and Office manager at Design Haus. Her interest in interior design is a welcome bonus. As the product manager, Kelly is a liaison between our manufacturers, designers, and clients. She tracks all orders, updates clients on estimated delivery dates, and coordinates deliveries to their homes. As office manager, she handles the day-to-day accounting side of the showroom. Â
